1. About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how rendergram.com, operated by Alexandra Sinitaru, trading as Rendergram Studio, uses cookies and similar technologies.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process personal data more generally.
For questions about our use of cookies or personal data, you can contact us at:
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites can store on your device when you visit them. They may be used to provide essential website functionality, remember your preferences, understand how a website is used, or measure the effectiveness of advertising.
Some cookies are necessary for the website to function or to remember your privacy choices. Other cookies, including Analytics and Marketing cookies, are optional and are only used with your consent.
3. How we use cookies
We currently use the following categories of cookies:
Necessary cookies
Necessary cookies are required for the operation of the website or to provide functionality requested by the visitor.
This includes the cookie used by our cookie-consent system to remember whether you have accepted or rejected optional cookies and your selected preferences.
Necessary cookies do not require consent where they are essential to provide the website or service requested.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website.
Google Analytics helps us understand information such as the number of visitors, pages visited, session activity, approximate geographic location, and browser and device information.
Google Analytics is not activated if you reject Analytics cookies.
Google states that GA4 uses first-party cookies such as _ga to distinguish users and _ga_<container-id> to maintain session state.
Marketing cookies
With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel to measure visits and interactions with our website and to understand the effectiveness of advertising on Meta platforms.
The Meta Pixel is not activated if you reject Marketing cookies.
4. Cookies currently used
| Cookie | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
moove_gdpr_popup | Rendergram / GDPR Cookie Compliance | Necessary | Remembers your cookie-consent choices and preferences. | Approx. 1 year |
_ga | Google Analytics | Analytics | Used to distinguish users for website analytics. | Up to 2 years, subject to browser limitations |
_ga_VDB93CK7QG | Google Analytics | Analytics | Used to maintain session state for our Google Analytics 4 property. | Up to 2 years, subject to browser limitations |
_fbp | Meta | Marketing | Used by the Meta Pixel in connection with advertising measurement and website visits. | Approx. 3 months |
Google lists a default expiry of two years for _ga and _ga_<container-id>, although browser restrictions may shorten their effective lifetime.
Cookie expiry periods can also change if a cookie is refreshed, deleted by the user, restricted by the browser, or changed by the relevant service provider.
5. Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to obtain statistics about the use of our website.
Google Analytics is assigned to the Analytics category in our cookie-consent system and only activates after you provide consent to Analytics cookies.
If you reject Analytics cookies, Google Analytics is not activated through our website and its Analytics cookies are not placed.
Our Google Analytics data-retention settings currently retain:
- event data for 2 months; and
- user data for 14 months, with the retention period resetting when new user activity occurs.
These data-retention settings are separate from the expiry period of cookies stored in your browser.
6. Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, to measure activity on our website and evaluate the effectiveness of advertising on Meta platforms.
The Meta Pixel is assigned to the Marketing category in our cookie-consent system and only activates after you provide consent to Marketing cookies.
If you reject Marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel is not activated through our website and the _fbp marketing cookie is not placed by our implementation.
7. Your cookie choices
When you first visit our website, you can accept, reject or manage optional cookies through our cookie banner.
Analytics and Marketing cookies are disabled by default and are not activated unless you provide the relevant consent.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie Settings available on the website.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
The Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) states that website operators are responsible for informing users about cookies and obtaining consent where required, including for analytics cookies. It also states that withdrawing consent should be as easy as providing it.
8. Browser settings
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Most browsers allow you to view stored cookies, delete existing cookies, block cookies from particular websites, or block cookies altogether.
Please note that blocking Necessary cookies through your browser may affect certain website functionality, including the ability to remember your cookie preferences.
9. Third-party services
Google and Meta may process information collected through their respective services in accordance with their own privacy policies and data-processing practices.
These companies operate internationally, and information may in some circumstances be processed outside the European Economic Area. More information about international transfers and our use of these providers is available in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if the cookies, technologies or third-party services used on our website change.
The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of the most recent update shown at the top.
